The EXOGRID2 brings a new dimension in performance technology to the table and is one of the most innovative bats to ever hit the market. This bat starts out with Louisville Slugger's SC21 Scandium Alloy which is one of the most durable and responsive alloys on the market. Moving toward the handle you'll find that the metal is trimmed into a grid-like pattern and replaced with carbon composite inserts. Inside the bat, the heart of the EXOGRID2 can be found in the form of an internal carbon composite sleeve. This provides greater handle stiffness than alloy alone ever could. All of these parts are brought together using Louisville Slugger's EXOGRID Bi/Fusion Process, where a combination of heat and extreme pressure bond everything into a single, solid unit. The EXOGRID2 has a 2 5/8 inch barrel and 7/8 inch standard handle with a synthetic grip. It is topped off by Louisville Slugger's patented Pro Cup Endcap.
